1975 BMW 2002; 4speed, 136k miles, sunroof, clean, solid, driver;

we are selling our 75 bmw 2002; 4 speed, original MALAGA on TAN interior, with SUNROOF that has been garage kept for many years. i bought it from the 2nd owner who was retired and moving to southern california about 5yrs ago. recently we bought a home, and the 2002 needs a good home. here are some particulars on the BMW.

ENGINE-TRANS;(SMOG EXEMPT) reconditioned engine w/ warranty, less then 1000 miles on drive time, and 136k miles on the car, and she runs near perfect. the transmission is in excellent shape, up and down shifts with no grinds, howls, or ominous sounds.

BODY; is in rust free condition, NO structural rust, straight body, no major dents or accidents, solid shock towers, rocker panels, front apron, and floor pan. the paint is in decent shape, not a showroom car, but quite presentable. this is a very clean 2002, which is why i originally bought it.

INTERIOR; the dash is near perfect, carpet is clean, no party-animal stains or smells, clean headliner, with a SUNROOF,(may need a service), that is functional, seats (i have an extra set of original seats, if you get serious) have been re-upholstered in a tasteful tan vinyl- combo that suits the original car color.

BASICS;the doors, windows, trunk are all functional, electrical aspects all working fine, NEW FRONT WINDSHIELD, and the car locks up tight. suspension is firm, the tires and brakes are in satisfactory condition. The major engine work was done by a 2002 specialist in Burlingame, and also has been maintaining all the last maintenence, from early this year.

If you are looking for a reasonably clean, solid, unmolested original 2002, this is one you might want to take a look at, among the others' on the market. it is not perfect, but for its age, and upkeep, it will contend with any others on the market in the same price range.
