Doug's 1972 BMW 2oo2tii

72 tii; riviera blue on saddle interior, all stock down to the carpets, and a rust free car. the car has about 126k original miles, and i have owned this car from 1977. Its been basically driven on weekends (less than 5k a year, it is a 2nd car)only. The car is all stock, with no modifications. it has never been in an accident, and i purchased it from the original owner, and is an original california ... "BLUE PLATE SPECIAL" .

The body is rust free, and has never been in an accident, very straight body, all panels are all straight and clean, no body damage, or major dents-dings. The driveline is in excellent condition, and has been maintained by a reputable independant BMW facility in the santa cruz area. the most recent MAJOR work was back in 2000. at top of hwy 17, the car started smoking, and cracked the cylinder head. at the cost of about $2k, i just decided to install a rebuilt tii engine. this engine has close to 10k on it now . the SUSPENSION, FRONT END, AND ALL BUSHINGS are in satisfactory condition, with not much needed at this point, but a caring owner to drive it. The car is in solid mechanical condition, with nothing of significant repair needed, as it was just serviced, and a new battery was installed. everything is working on the car, except the clock on the dash. I would imagine that this could be fixed without a problem. Other then that, its all there, and functioning.

The interior is all original also, the seats are a bit flat, and could use some stuffing, and the material is in satisfactory condition. This is a great example of a better than average 2oo2tii, for this year, and i have been quite careful about how it was maintained. It is currently being shown at the beyond 2 showroom in the san francisco bay area. this car has a clean title, is registered, legal, and ready to drive away.
