I Purchased it with the 5speed conversion already done, along with a rebuilt engine, with close to 40k on it, about 4yrs ago. It has been maintained and babied by an independant BMW garage, in the Berkeley and San Francisco bay area, since I had it. It is stock except for the wheels. This car has no major problems, the brakes, clutch, and cooling system are all in good working order, and it has been a reliable, and a safe driver car. It is mechanically and electrically sound, and drives down the road strong, with no smoking or ominous sounds. The car shifts well, no grinding up or down shifting, everything is working fine and there is no rust on the car. It has a straight body and locks up tight. The interior has been re-upholstered.

The re-upholstered job looks clean and nicely done, and the carpet is new. Also the paint is in very good condition, with no body damage or major apparent dings or scratches. Come see and drive this tii to appreciate the car for what it is. This car does not need anything mechanically, and has been serviced on a regular basis. I purchased this from a woman in san francisco, who lost her parking after many years and parking in the city streets of San Francisco, does NO justice to a nice black tii. from what i have learned, the last 2 owners have maintained the car with a 2002 specialist in Burlingame, CA, which shows a good history in servicing this tii, and a primary reason for me to have owned this little beauty.
